Day Three: Another wild trip to the home and I was greeted again by a flurry of smiles & "Aunty Nicole is here". We play, We sing and little Steven shows me his car which has been made out of a plastic water bottle and the lids have been used as wheels. He pulls this through the red dirt with such delight, and then later shares this with little Abu and Gift. So precious.
I depart a richer woman from the experience I cant tell you. A teary goodbye as one of the twins says "Aunty can I come with you..." Little Livingstone, my strong silent man grabs my hand as a gesture and gives me a smile. I say I hope your heart is filled with love and joy. He leans his head on my leg and I know he does. Bless him and all the children, Florence and Frank for a lifechaging experience. All I need do now is climb that mountain for them. I leave for Tanzania today, (Thursday) via the National Gallery & the markets ! x
