Naturally Nepal - Andrea Nave

And once again I am in Nepal. I am home. The sights, the sounds the
smells and the familiar chaos. I love this ancient land with
spirituality ingrained into every day life and the gentle ways of the
Nepalese people.
We are welcomed to our accommodation and quickly freshen up from
travel. I am eager to get everyone to Forget Me Not and the 21 reasons
for all of this adventure.  We arrive to shouts, cheers and hugs of
welcome Aunty and Uncle!
The 21 precious girls of Forget Me Not gather us inside with sparking
smiles and unstoppable enthusasium. Our visiting travellers listen
intently as the girls introduce themselves and speak of favorite
things, best colour and hobbies, school subjects and ambitions.  Here
we sit amongst  Nepal's future chefs, hotel managers, artists,
singers, doctors, dancers and nurses. The room is a buzz with 21 sets
of hopes and dreams and tangible potential! Their English is so clear.
I am proud as proud could be of the girls.
I have with me on this visit, my two daughters, Ebony 17 and Millie
14. I am watching Nepal seep into both of them. The children here at
Forget Me Not steal them away and capture their hearts, claiming them
forever. Millie is here for a second time and is re absorbed as if she
never left!
Each time I return to Forget Me Not I am reminded that life is
precious and there is no need to wait to make a difference. At the
edge of your comfort zone is where real life begins. Namaste
