Day 9 Boonah To Rosewood by chief Heffalump

Today we expected high temps and the day didn't disappoint reaching 32 degrees by mid afternoon!

Apart from tired legs, a few knee problems, and trying to get Claz out of Queenslands oldest pub in Rosevale all five of us arrived to a miGhty police presence in the street leading up to the show grounds - luckily it wasnt for us but for a bikkies tattoo convention on the same day.

So you may ask how close are we to making our 1000km totals?

Les has 50km to ride tomorrow and he will have reached his target of 1000km
Lars has 60km to ride tomorrow to reach 1000km
Dan won't quite make it to the 1000km this year but he gave it a good crack and will be back again next year to achieve the 1000km
Trudy had a goal of riding over 600km and will be 40km over that by the finish of tomorrow's ride.

And I think I'm forgetting someone???

You may be thinking "has Clarence surivive the ride? Did he make his 1000km?

Well Clarence needs YOUR help to finish the last day? He has a sore throat and nasty head cold and says that he is catching the bus tomorrow morning as he has already racked up 1050km!

He is currently at $975 in sponsorship on our everyday hero page and he says that he will ride to the finish line providing he gets to $1100 in sponsorship which will be $1 for every km over the 1000km ridden.

Help get Claz home!!! www.everydayhero.com.au/cycling_forget_me_nots

Thanks to everyone for supporting all of us and our beautiful children in Uganda that we take care of you have given them a reason to smile again :-)

The cycling Forget Me Not team of Lars, Les, Claz, Trudy and Dan
